Broken Hearts Mended

How does a broken heart get mended? Only by the light of the Lord coming down from above, enlightening our nous, & healing the unseen. In the deepest parts of our souls, a void is touched. Nothing can hide or be put out of complete reach from the healing hand of our Creator.

We cry out to our Abba Father, and the words reach His throne room. In His Perfect Counsel, He sends us help. Faith is our shield and the Word is our sword in these dark times. He is the light in the darkness, though the darkness knows Him not.

Our preaching of Christ crucified is a stumbling block to the Jews, and foolishness to the Gentiles, but it’s our redemption and the power of God. The Jews demand signs; He is our first and last sign. The Greeks search for wisdom; fear of Him is the beginning of wisdom.

The Church has the medicine for a broken heart. It is the therapeutic hospital that the heart is mended in. Because the Church is headed by Christ and is His body. We can do nothing right without a right-heart. We can make our hearts right by no other name than Jesus.

Repentance sets the heart for change and God does hear. He sets us back on the right path with a clear mind, able to perceive Him to the best ability we’re able to in the state we’re in. He mends our broken hearts and strengthens us to do what we are made to do in this life.

This life is short, and the traumas of life are many. There is no shortness of task the Church has in these times. Yet before we can go out to fix others, we must look at the things needing to be fixed in our personal lives. We need not be perfect, but we must be humble, knowing all we preach is applicable to ourselves always, and nothing makes us righteous ourselves.

God uses us despite our shortcomings, despite our failures and insecurities. God will provide the way, the means, and the strength to fight through our fears. He will mend our broken heart, and make it better than we have words to ask with.
